Florida DOT, District 6, USA
The state of Florida, District 6 has selected Impath's i-Volution i-4100 digital video encoding system for monitoring Highway 826. The i-4100 was chosen for its size, robustness and tolerance to harsh temperatures. Impath's interoperability with other video products in the network was a major factor for the selection.



Miami Dade Expressway, Florida, USA  
The Miami Dade Expressway Authority has selected Impath's i-Volution i-4100 video encoding system for Highway 836 (also known as the "Dolphin Expressway"). The Authority will share its video with other agencies such as the SunGuide Operation Center. Product interoperability and wide operating temperature range was a major factor for this project.



Hillside, Chicago, U.S.A.  
The intersection of Highway 88, 294 and 290 is one of the busiest intersections in the city of Chicago. In this installation, Impath's i-Volution™ solution provides video surveillance of the highway gate controls over a digital backbone using both SONET and Microwave technology. Impath's solution provides high quality video and reliable transport for this mission critical surveillance application.



City of Colorado Springs, Colorado, U.S.A.  
This long time customer of Impath started with the traditional TransPorter™ products and migrated to the i-Volution solution due to its ease of installation and product functionality. Taking advantage of the temperature hardened i4000 with dual optical interfaces, over 30 cameras are deployed along Highway 25.

 

Florida Turnpike, Florida, U.S.A  
The Florida Department of Transportation utilizes Impath's i-Volution solution to monitor the 280 miles of the Florida Turnpike. The solution provides a total video surveillance system (100 cameras in the first phase) for both traffic control centers in Orlando and Pompano Beach. The solution is reliable, robust and easy to use, and also provides the flexibility to address network growth, which will come with future expansion of this project.

 

US Army, Air Defense, U.S.A.  
A series of i-Volution products are deployed at a selection of US Army bases to monitor troop activity. The solution offers the ability to deploy temperature-hardened encoders around the base using the optical interface of the i4000 product. For monitoring, ClientVue™ provides the ability to monitor any activity from any PC workstation located on the base.

 

County of Palm Beach, Florida, U.S.A.  
The County of Palm Beach provides video feeds from the main control center to the remote Emergency Control Center and a local TV station using Impath's i-Volution solution. Impath's digital solution eliminates distance limitations and provides the video quality required for this mission critical application.

 

City of Provo, Utah, U.S.A.  
The City of Provo utilizes Impath's products to provide video surveillance to the downtown core. Impath's digital Video-over-IP "i-Volution" products are used to transport Video from the distant 911 Emergency Center. This solution merges both traditional analog video networks with digital Video-over-IP to offer network flexibility, reliability and high quality video over an extended distance for the 911 Surveillance system. TeleVue Network Management is used to service and control the system.

 

 

Skyway Bridge, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.  
The City of Chicago Skyway Operation utilizes Impath's solution for incident management of the eight-mile long toll bridge. Video surveillance expedites the dispatch of emergency response and service vehicles with all appropriate co-operating agancies.

 

 

Downtown Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.  
The incident management facility of the City of Chicago responds effectively to adverse traffic conditions in the downtown core. The flexible "add-drop" capability of i-Volution products, offers a high quality traffic surveillance solution using the minimum number of fiber strands in this highly populated area.

 

 

I279 & Fort Pitt Tunnel, Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A.  
Incident management of the Fort Pitt Tunnel and I279 is controlled by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Impath's TransPorter solution provides video surveillance to expedite the dispatch of emergency response and service vehicles.

 

 

City of Ottawa, ON, Canada - Downtown Surveillance  

The City of Ottawa uses Impath's solution to monitor traffic in the downtown core of the city. The add-drop capability of the TransPorter solution collects the video from various intersections and brings it all back to the Control Center using only 2 fibers.

 

City of Tampa  
The City of Tampa deployed Impath's i-Volution with add-drop capability to distribute video signals between control centers and fire stations.

 

JFK Airport, New York City, U.S.A.  
This huge installation within the International Arrivals Terminal at JFK maintains traveler safety by way of hundreds of cameras placed in virtually all regions of the terminal - passenger areas, luggage and cargo areas, the tarmac, and the perimeter in its entirety. Impath's sophisticated CCTV network is managed by Impath's TeleVue Applications Manager.

 

Virginia DOT, Norfolk, U.S.A.

 
Interstate I-64 and Route 44 have Impath's fully integrated video, voice and data systems installed at over 200 sites in a network that Impath was called upon to help design. The installation base includes the TeleVue Applications Management System. Three phases have been completed with VDoT - a testament to the quality of the Impath line of equipment.

 

Toronto's Highway 401, Canada  
Innovators in the field of ITS, officials at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) were the first in Canada to implement a fully integrated video, voice and data ITS network in 1989. Since that time MTO has developed a comprehensive ITS infrastructure along Highway 401 in the Toronto area, and has installed Impath equipment at over 250 sites. Recognized at the second busiest highway section in North America, over 32,000 vehicles per hour make use of the roadway. Reflective of its confidence in Impath over the years, MTO has partnered with Impath on 8 phases of its ITS project (commonly referred to as COMPASS).

 

Arizona DOT, Phoenix, U.S.A.

 
Interstate I-10 in Phoenix, Arizona, following Phases I and II of its project, has an installation base of fully integrated video, voice and data systems. For manageability, it depends on Impath's TeleVue Applications Manager.

 

LA Transit, Los Angeles, U.S.A.  
Impath multiplexers (with up to 12 channels of video per multiplexer) are installed at 16 stations in the LA Metro Greenline system.

 

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, U.S.A.

 
The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey asked Impath to provide multiplexer systems for its revenue control network at three airports (LaGuardia, Newark and JFK). Impath's equipment has also been installed at 12 major stations for the Trans Hudson Rail link and Newark subway systems. Impath also provided products for the LaGuardia fire alarm system.

 

BC Transit, Skytrain Light Rail System, Vancouver, Canada  
Impath equipment was installed to provide a video, voice and data communications network in the greater Vancouver area. From the initial stations installed in Phase I, the network has expanded to include 18 stations over the past 14 years.


Boston Mass Transit Administration (MTA), Boston, U.S.A.  
Impath has provided products with up to 18 channels of video per station.

 

Caltrans, California, U.S.A.  
Impath provided equipment for this critical ITS project in Santa Monica on the I-5, currently the world's busiest highway. In addition, Impath equipment is installed in the ITS systems of the Golden State I-105 and I-405 highways, and the I-10 state freeway.

 

Chantilly, Virginia, U.S.A.  
Impath equipment is found on six sites in Chantilly's ITS project, with up to 21 channels per multiplexer in add/drop configurations over long distances. Impath's TeleVue Applications Management System helps manage the network.


Commonwealth Generating Station, Illinois, U.S.A.  
Impath video networking products were deployed by Wesco Distribution Inc. (NuPower) to ensure perimeter security at this power generating plant in LaSalle, Illinois.

 

Maryland-Baltimore Mass Transit (MTA), U.S.A.

 
Impath supplied equipment for 16 stations in the Baltimore point-to-point voice and data communications network. Installation of equipment is planned for video transmission at another 30 stations.

 

South Carolina DOT, I-85, U.S.A.

 
Impath was selected to provide fiber optic communications equipment for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) I-85 ITS project - where the I-85 meets the I-385 connector. The advanced traffic management system deployed by SCDOT makes use of 16 Impath multiplexers. SCDOT employs Impath's TeleVue Applications Management System to remotely monitor and configure its communications network.

 

 

Ngauranga Gorge, Wellington, New Zealand  
Philips Projects Australasia (now Tyco Integrated Systems) supplied Impath to provide video networking equipment for the New Zealand Transit Authority. The project includes 22 multiplexers to monitor the 3 kilometer stretch of the Ngauranga Gorge Motorway near Wellington, New Zealand in what is considered a significant CCTV video transmission project for the area.

 

Taipei to Ilan Highway, Taiwan  
UFO Communication of Taiwan chose Impath as the supplier for this video transmission system on the highway between Taipei and Ilan. Transmission of 54 video channels between 5 sites and a traffic management.

 

Telea Tardito, Italy  
Telea Tardito, a division of Fiat Corporation, was contracted to design and build a process control and monitoring system in Brindisi, Italy. Telea selected Impath to supply fiber optic communications devices for its telecommunications network. The system comprises over 40 multiplexers supporting 480 video channels, and 36 voice and data multiplexers supporting both telephone subscriber line interfaces and low speed EIA-232 data communications.

 

Zhu Ja Highway, Heilongjiang Province, China  
Impath's products were selected to provide the transmission of high quality CCTV video surveillance along a major highway in northeastern China. The system was supplied through Impath's value added reseller, Symphonic Telecom Limited, for the Intelligent Transportation Systems market in China.

 

Raytheon, China  
Impath was selected for the provision of voice and data telecommunications equipment for installations in China. Impath equipment was the favored choice for airports in Zengzhou, Xian, Nanchang, and Taiyuan.
